  1. Installing the QM workstation over the network.
  2.  
  3. Steps for the QuickMail administrator:
  4.     a.  Copy the 'Install 1' folder to a shared volume (Appleshare server).  Leave the name         'Install 1'.
  5.     b.  Copy the 'Install 2' folder to the shared volume on the same level as the Install 1.  Leave the name of the folder 'Install 2'.
  6.     c.  Give users full rights to these folders.

  8. Steps for users:
  9.     a.  REMOVE ALL VIRUS PROTECTION SOFTWARE FROM THE SYSTEM FOLDER AND RESTART YOUR MACHINE.  You may reinstall the virus protection software after the install is complete.
  10.     b.  Open the 'Install 1' folder.  (Check with the QuickMail administrator for its location.)
  11.     c.  Holding the shift key down, click once on the 'Installer' icon and once on the 'Workstation Install' icon.  Both icons should be hilighted now.
  12.     d.  Double click on the 'Workstation Install' icon.
  13.     e.  When the install screen comes up, click the 'Install' button.
  14.     f.  Follow the instructions as they appear on the screen.
  15.     g.  Restart the machine.
